Another popular Cricket tournament like IPL is South Africa Cricket League 2024. South Africa Cricket League was originally held under the name of IPL franchise teams name. Originally, South Africa Cricket League was held with six teams. South Africa became the first champions of the tournament Sunrisers Eastern Cape in 2022-23. This year's South Africa Cricket League 2024 is the second season. It will be played in T20 format.
What format will the SA20 2024 tournament be in?
South Africa Cricket League 2024 tournaments will be organized, round robing and playoffs. Six teams will play each other and the top four teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals and the following teams will eliminate. The qualifying round will be in two stages. The first qualifier winner will go directly to the finals. The team that loses the first qualifier will go to the semi-finals. The winner of the second qualifier will play the team in the semi-finals. Then the winner of the semi-final will go to the final. In the final, the winning team will be declared the champion.
